Glacier Park Western Inn & Campground located at 7285 US Hwy 2 E., Columbia Falls, MT 59912 (hereafter "Resort") has created these policies to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information. For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server does not automatically recognize any information regarding the domain or e-mail address.
Confirmation / Permission to Charge / Cancellation
A. Reservation Confirmation / Prepayment / Permission To Charge: Upon making a reservation with our Resort by e-mail or phone, you will be given a confirmation number. The confirmation number will be sent to you by e-mail only if an address was given to us when making the reservation. Since it is not within our control if an e-mail received by you is considered "spam" and/or returned, we will not call or attempt to contact you in the event that occurs. As it is our policy for reservation of 3 or more accomomdatons to require prepayment for reservations, if your credit card has been appropriately charged, you can assume we have expeditiously held for you the accommodations requested. Should you have any questions as to the accommodations reserved for you, please call the Resort at (406) 892-7686 to verify. By your providing this information to us, you are expressly authorizing we may charge this card for additional expenses and/or damages incurred with regard to your stay, or if you fail to timely cancel you will be charged for your entire stay; no refund. Upon check-in at our Resort, you may request/provide a different card for these additional expenses and/or damages. And we do require photocopying of your ID at check-in for protection against identity theft.
B. Reservation Cancellation Policy: The Resort cancellation policy requires: 72-hour notice is required before your scheduled check-in time for a single accommodation reservation; 1-week notice is required for two accommodation reservations. Refunds will be returned by either by mail in the form of a check or credit to your charge card, at the discretion of the Resort. There is no refund for early departure. If by 9am on the morning following your scheduled arrival you have not shown, cancelled your reservation or notified us of a delay in arrival, your reservation will be cancelled with no refund. PLEASE NOTE that changes or cancellations are subject to a 10% administration charge per accommodation.
Non-Smoking Property / Dog Policies
As a sponsor and advocate of the American Heart Association, we are proud to be a non-smoking property, with one designated smoking area away from guest accommodations. Violation of either our smoke-free policy or sneaking a dog into a suite or cabin will each incur a $100 fee, and you may be asked to leave the property immediately without refund at the Resort's discretion. Dog fee for suites is $20/night for 1 dog; $30/night for 2 dogs. Cabins are $20 for the duration of stay 1-2 dogs. If bringing a dog to stay on-site in a suite, you must preadvise so you can be properly placed in a dog-friendly; dog fees are to be paid at check-in. We love dogs, but are not responsible for any injuries or damages caused by your pet; that is the responsibility of the pet owner. Please keep your dog under control at all times while on the property, leash preferred, do not allow them to bark or disturb other guests, do not leave them in your room if they will whine, bark or cause any property damage, do not allow them up on the bed (housekeeping will appreciate this very much), and PLEASE clean up your dog's waste and put it in an outdoor dumpster so everyone can enjoy our grounds.
A. Sharing And Usage: We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information. How can you stop receiving e-mail from us? Each e-mail sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving e-mail from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any e-mail.
B. While Browsing Our Website: While you explore our Website for the information that interests you, you may wish to put in a specific "Information Request" about our Resort, or you may wish to participate in one of our on-line surveys or promotions. To respond to this request or to participate in our various programs, we may ask you for Personal Information, such as your name, zip/postal code, e-mail address, and phone number. In the event you choose to provide us with this information, we will only use it for the purpose we have specified to you. Please note that we do not sell or rent our lists to anyone, and you may ask to be removed from the list at any time. Visitors will always have the ability to accept or decline any form of communication from the Resort.
C. When Making A Reservation: Reservations can be made on-line, by calling our reservation office directly at (406) 892-7686 or by e-mail to email@example.com. When you make a reservation, you will be asked to provide Personal Information such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, and method of payment. Confirmation of your reservation will be provided to you by e-mail, or mail if timely and no email available, directly from the Resort. All credit card information is held strictly confidential, protected by our card processors and charge gateways. Credit card information is purged from our reservation software thirty days after your stay.
D. How Do We Store Personal Information?: 1. At The Resort: Our Resort goes to great measures to ensure that all Personal Information is kept in a secure location. Emails from guests providing credit card numbers are purged immediately after processing. Furthermore, we take steps to ensure that only designated individuals have access to this information.
2. In Our Guest Reservation System: In order to serve you better we also store certain guest information in our reservation software. That software is a secure customer database stored on a dedicated server.
